About Me
Hello, I’m Mercy Amarachi Agbayi, a passionate cybersecurity professional with a diverse academic and professional background. With over a decade of experience in physical security through military service, I have transitioned fully into the world of cybersecurity. My academic background in Criminology, Information Technology, and Cybersecurity equips me with a unique lens to protect digital systems and communities. Today, I am passionately focused on driving cybersecurity innovation and building safer digital spaces worldwide.

My Journey into Cybersecurity
My passion for security began in 2014 when I joined the Nigerian Air Force. In 2021, I transitioned into the Nigerian Navy, enhancing my leadership and operational security skills.
Over the years, I completed:
- Four advanced cybersecurity courses (three in-person, one online)
- Certifications and hands-on Internship Training
Breaking societal expectations and overcoming gender barriers, I pursued higher education while working, thanks to the flexibility offered by The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
Today, I am committed to cybersecurity — using my background to protect, educate, and empower others.
